Types of Membership
Institutional Member
Represents an organization, institution, or entity based in Africa. Participation and contributions reflect the institution’s interests and priorities. All employees can benefit from coalition resources.
Annual Fees - Institutional (Africa-based): $50Individual Member
An individual residing in Africa who joins in a personal capacity. Participation is based on personal interest in the coalition’s mission.
Annual Fees- Individual (Africa-based): $25 - Student Associates: $5 (with proof of enrollment) - Early-Career Researchers: $20 (graduated within 4 years)
Observer Member*
An institution or individual based outside of Africa with experience in abortion research or advocacy in Africa, willing to contribute to our mission. *Limited to 10 institutions and 20 individuals.

- Collaborate with transparency and integrity.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all Members.
- Abide by ACORCA’s values and principles.

Membership Fees
Fee Waivers Available
Institutions and individuals facing financial constraints may request a fee waiver. Please submit a written request outlining your need and commitment to our mission to [email protected]. Requests are reviewed based on financial need, institution type, and commitment to the coalition.
